Tray Packer for Instant Ramen Pillow Packs | Form-Load-Seal Monoblock
This automatic tray packer is designed to wrap pre-creased blanks around instant ramen pillows according to preset packing patterns. The machine picks tray blanks from the magazine, folds them to a U shape, folds in both outer side corners, pushes in ramen pillow packs, folds in both inner corners, transfers the blanks, sprays hot-melt glue, and finally folds the front and rear sides to form the trays. The tray packer works with one or more of our collators which are used to organize and group ramen packs, and it can work as a fully-automatic tray packing system.
Besides instant ramen, this tray packer can be tailored to pack a broad variety of other products like bricks, cups, cans, bottles and jars. It can also be combined with a shrink wrapper. Shrink-wrapped trays are a popular packaging for instant ramen noodles (in both pillow packs and cups) in the North American market.
This tray packer integrates tray forming, product loading and corner sealing into a single compact unit. The wrap-around system offers a tighter tray because the tray is formed directly around the product, rather than forming the tray first and then loading the product into it.
